Introduction

The Web Search feature in HallianAI allows users to perform secure, real-time internet searches directly within the platform. This capability is especially valuable for supplementing internal organizational knowledge with the latest external information, enabling more informed decision-making and research without leaving HallianAI. The feature is controlled by administrators to ensure secure and appropriate access.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Verify Feature Availability

    Ensure that your HallianAI administrator has enabled the Web Search feature for your account. Without this setup, the web search icon will not appear.

  2. Locate the Web Search Icon

    Open any prompt input area within HallianAI. Below the text box where you type your query, look for the web search icon (usually represented by a magnifying glass or globe symbol).

  3. Initiate a Web Search

    Click the web search icon to activate the feature.

  4. Enter Your Query

    Type your question or keywords into the prompt input area as you normally would. For example:

    What are the latest regulatory changes impacting environmental consulting engineering firms in North Carolina?

  5. Submit Your Query

    Click the Submit button to send your query. HallianAI will automatically perform a secure web search to gather relevant, up-to-date information from the internet.

  6. Review the Results

    The platform will display the search results integrated with the AI’s response, providing you with comprehensive insights that combine internal data and external web information.
